Teaching Methods

Methodologies will prioritize student reflection and participation through the analysis of valid texts, performances and other resources, with collaborative exploration of their content in its various dimensions. Problem-solving activities invite students to analyze real problems (based on information presentation) and envision/imagine sustainable futures to address problems and enrich perspectives through classroom discussions.
The aim is to foster well-founded criticism, develop environmental culture and mobilize creativity in individual development and in an action research context. Field visits are also encouraged, as a methodology for exploration and connection with locations in nearby natural landscapes.

Assessment

The assessment will be carried out in the Continuous modality, based on interim work organized in an individual cartography (40%) and in the final work of an individual or paired environmental education project, guided by the teacher(s), subject to a presentation and discussion to all members of the group/class. The final project work will represent 60% of the overall assessment.
Teachers will provide ongoing feedback on student projects, and initial, midterm, and final classroom presentations will provide the opportunity for students? self and hetero-evaluation of the learning process
Final assessment: Oral and written presentation of project (100%).
