Learning Goals
This curricular unit aims to promote students' knowledge of various research topics in Psychology, in particular those that are the object of work by the various members of the teaching staff. In this way, it is intended that students acquire knowledge about the state of the art of research in Psychology underway at the UÉ, framing them in a broader field of research in the field of Psychology. It is also the objective that, taking into account the knowledge and skills developed, students can frame their thesis projects in ongoing researchand make an informed choice of a research topic to be further developed in their thesis.
Contents
The syllabus corresponds to the different research themes of the teaching staff, whenever possible framing them in broader lines of investigation and taking into account the existing confluences. To this end, other researchers may be invited, namely those who work with the teaching, and who can provide a broader perspective of the respective themes and main studies carried out.

Each member of the teaching staff (with the possible collaboration of other researchers) conceptually presents their research themes and respective studies already carried out and in progress.
Evaluation methodologies:
At the end of the semester, as an evaluation element, students will be asked to choose a topic that they intend to develop in their thesis on and prepare a brief literature review on it.
