At the end of the course the student must:
• Understand the relationship between transport and tourism;
• To know the main concepts in the field of transport geography, namely, spatial differentiation, accessibility, transport network measures and intermodally;
• Identify and characterize the different modes of transport and their relevance in the development of tourism activity;
• Identify future transport trends and anticipate impacts on the tourism industry.

a) Land Transport: road, train and other land transport
b) Air Transport: civil aviation and other means of air transport
c) Water transport: River cruises, sea cruises other means of water transport

5. Analysis of case studies

• Expository method supported by Powerpoint projection;
• Case studies
• Lectures with guest speakers

• Autonomous learning through a group research project

Evaluation:
Continuous assessment consists of the following assessment elements:
• 1 mid-term written exam (60%)
• Practical work (40%)

Assessment by exam:
• Written test (100%)
