Learning Goals

Being an optional curricular unit of the 5th semester, it aims to provide an insight into the causes and effects of natural hazards and how natural processes and human activity interact to produce them and sometimes increase their effects.
The UC will also address the scale of problems in time and magnitude of hazards and will evaluate any mitigation procedures to minimize the effects of hazards.
