This course promotes the study of concepts and practices of the current musical artistic reality, with special emphasis on the Musicology topic of 'Performance Practice': its research and practical results.

Theoretical approach related to the professional context of performance practice;
- Theoretical presentation based on scientific articles;
- Analysis, reflection and research on themes related to musical performance;
- Presentation on the semantics of interpretation: all the notes that a score may have that can influence the interpretation.
- The relationship between interpretation and analysis: importance of musical analysis for memorization and effective learning, and its influence on interpretative choices and decisions.
