Knowledge and integrated reflection on the complementary perspectives about the structure and functionning
of the mediterranean landscapes, biodiversity conservation, the modellling of natural ressources and of the
silvo-pastoral systems, as well as the farm and land use systems, the ultifunctionality and dynamics of the
rural landscapes, the evaluation of the social de,mand and the analysis of policies.

Lectures by th several professors and invited specialists, on different subjects within the theme of the course.
Reading and discussion of papers and other docuemnts, field visits, preparation and discussion of a synthesis
work.
Evaluation of the participation in classes and in the discussions oriented by the professors, reports on the field
visit, report on the readings and discussion of concepts and theories, and the different disciplinary
