The degree in Biomedical and Health Sciences, pioneer at a national level, acts in the field of biomedical and health sciences, health technologies and society, responding to the main emerging challenges in these areas. In order to achieve this, this degree presents an interdisciplinary logic based on 3 pillars: Solid fundamental training in the biomedical, biology and biochemistry areas aimed at physiology, morphology, human development and pathophysiology; Training in the area of Public Health/Health Promotion and Disease Prevention, with a focus on the health and well-being of the community, in general, and on the aging processes, in particular; Approach to a Health in convergence with the concept of Global/Planetary Health.
