1. Being able to deepen theoretical and methodological knowledge essential to the study of the everyday
realities of programming, management and maintenance centers and cultural associations and equipment
(museums, libraries, archives, arts center, theaters , etc. ) .
2. Have the ability to prepare analyzes, write texts and transmit correct and accessible the results of an
investigation of the territorial, heritage and human context concerning centers and cultural associations
and other cultural field equipments.
3. Develop collaborative relationships and partnerships with the various cultural institutions of the city and
the region.
4. To acquire the technical skills required to program activity centers, associations and cultural facilities.

Teaching Methods

1. Designing commented images, fixed and moving, illustrating the cultural program centers, associations
and cultural facilities.
2. Technical visit to cultural institutions in the city and in the region of Évora and Lisbon. Individual report
preparation and delivery.
3. Conferences given by qualified technicians and coordinators of cultural institutions. Individual report by
students.
4. Critical reading of selected articles of legislation on planning land and cities.
5. Exposure ( participatory dialogue ) of the concepts and terminology used throughout the teaching
program.
6. From a script provided by the teacher, preparation and oral presentation of a monograph focusing on
programming issues, management and maintenance of a given cultural institution, selected by the student,
properly contextualized in its territory of insertion.
