THE SIMPLE REGRESSION LINEAR MODEL WITH CROSS-SECTIONAL DATA: Specification; Estimation; Expected Values, Variances and Properties of the Estimators.
MULTIPLE REGRESSION ANALYSIS WITH CROSS SECTIONAL DATA: Specification; Estimation; Functional Form and Transformation of Variables; Effects of Changing the Unit of Measurement; Expected Values, Variances and Properties of the Estimators; Multicolinearity; Inference; Prediction.

Teaching Methods
Teaching is based on theoretical and practical classes, with a small number of students, where, after the transmission of theoretical contents, students solve practical exercises that help to understand the concepts and put the knowledge into practice. In exercise solving, priority is given to the use of real data supported by appropriate econometric software.
The course is based on a continuous assessment regime, which assumes attendance at least 75% of classes; two practical group assignments, with a weight of 15% of the final grade each, and two individual written tests, with a weight of 35% each. Students may also opt for the exam scheme where they will take a single assessment test at the end of the semester.
