Learning Goals

This curriculum unit aims to contribute to the study of educational administration, with particular emphasis on the knowledge and analysis of the educational system and their structures. Thus, main objectives are:
-To promote interest in the study of Educational Administration.
-Know the constitutional ideals and the guiding principles of the system of education and teaching
-Analyze the Educational System Act in relation to the purposes of school education, general structure and administration of the levels of education and teaching and models of organization and operation
- Reflect on territorial educational decentralization trends and its implications in the school development
-Explore analytical instruments and educational planning with a view to inform and design educational options in a context of territorialisation of educational policies and dynamic autonomy
- Exercise intervention practices in the field of educational policy, organisation and educational administration

-The constitutional ideology for education: guiding principles and general organisation
-The Educational System Act as structuring and organizer of the referential system of education and teaching
. General aims of school education and organizational and pedagogical implications
. Organizational architecture, modalities and characteristics
. Educational administration, organic structures and levels
3-Administration and educational policies
- Education, contextual factors and social educational fairness
-Territorialization of educational policies and municipalization of education
4- Educational policies, autonomy and development of school
-School Organizations, structures and configurations
-Educational regulation and logical adjustment of conformity
-School Organizations and managing results
-Analytical instruments supported on systems of indicators

Teaching Methods

The teaching methodologies use interpretative exhibition strategies involving students in the analysis of scenarios from texts, documents, media, videos and the different methods of work as interactive exhibition, group discussions, case studies, analysis and submission of comments, conducting classroom activities and work related to the contents in the study.
The evaluation will consist in the realization of classroom work of implementation and application of thematic analyzed and discussed. Will also take into account participation in the sessions and work of individual and group research.
