Presentation

The UC aims to address some themes and problems, which distinguish Ethics as a fundamental discipline, and to enable Students to properly understand the duties of professional Educators.

1. Employ, with epistemological adequacy, the concepts of ethics and deontology.

2. Identify, within experience, the values whose achievement is prescribed by ethical principles.

3. Understand the significance of ethics experience and of training of the Person as author of ethical acts.

4. Examine the major ethical imperatives underlying the duties of educators.

5. Justify the importance of Teachers Deontology.

6. Be able to take a stand, consistently, on the relationship between being free and responsible, and educate in and for freedom and responsibility.

ETHICS AS PHILOSOPHICAL DISCIPLINE

- The subject matter and methodology of investigation in Ethics

II. ETHICAL VALUES AND PRINCIPLES OF CONDUCT

- From the relevance of fundamental ethical values recognition to the experience of acting by duty

III. PROFESSIONAL ETHICS AS PART OF ETHICS

- Questioning the importance of a theory of duties, in general, and responsibilities of educators, in particular

IV. THE PROBLEMS OF FREEDOM AND RESPONSIBILITY

- Its formulation and its presence in the processes of the human person education
