Sustainable Development Goals

Learning Goals

The program is structured so that the student conceives and realizes his own artistic projects in order to:
1. Consolidate knowledge of how to design, base and realize an artistic creation project centered on a concept, theme or strategy;
2. Consolidate knowledge and application of the most appropriate methodologies and technologies for the accomplishment of a specific body of work;
3. Enhance the conceptual, experimental and technological skills and knowledge appropriate to the artwork;
4. Further develop critical thinking indispensable for consistent and coherent artistic practice.
The theoretical and practical work is accompanied by project reports focused on the creative proposals of each student, namely the definition of the problem, methodologies, media, and technologies employed. The work resulting from the student's personal artistic practice will be presented at an exhibition taking place at the end of the semester.

1.3. Deepening the rationale of a project through the theme, concepts and main references.
2. Realization and presentation of the artwork.
2.1. Selection of production strategies of the artistic work;

2.3. Develop research of execution tools and presentation of the final semester work.

Teaching Methods

The lectures, of an expository nature, are taught to the group of students promoting critical debate, sharing and reflection among all, while accompanying and guiding the individual work of each with their own specificities. The different topics of the program relate to the practical work in development presented orally by each student. According to the particularity of each student's artistic project, questions of common interest will also be raised and examples of framing in the context of the visual arts will be presented.
Throughout the semester, there are workshop study visits and lectures, and artists and curators who stand out for their work of merit in the visual arts, as well as alumni, will be invited.
The final evaluation results from five criteria: attendance (20%); contribution to project discussions, and; oral exposition; works presented periodically (60%), and; reports and work performed (20%).
