Learning Goals

To understand the main production factors in Mediterranean agricultural systems and the main impacts of their inappropriate use.
To know the technologies and tools for monitoring production factors.
To understand technical management strategies for production factors

Production factors: definition, types, and importance of their management for the sustainability of agricultural production.
Impacts of the use of different production factors on Mediterranean agroecosystems. Technologies and strategies for the sustainable management of irrigation, fertilization, phytosanitary protection, soil, and other production factors.

Teaching Methods

Classes are predominantly theoretical-practical. Theoretical introduction to the programmatic content, followed by a practical component involving technological applications. Case studies are presented and discussed. Students may carry out literature review assignments supported by teachers or analyze technical-scientific articles Facilitating knowledge transfer through the use of available technologies for distance learning.
