Teaching Methods
Given the inherent theoretical-practical and instrumental nature of the program contents, an initially theoretical approach will be prioritized, followed by illustration with specific practical cases derived from healthcare settings. Additionally, a critical analysis of documents relevant to the Curricular Unit's theme will be conducted, and collaborative group work activities will be promoted. The primary pedagogical strategy will focus on the promotion and development of competencies predefined for this Curricular Unit, through the application of interactive methodologies that encourage active participation and foster reflective processes.
Simultaneously, tutorial support resources will be provided to offer individualized guidance to students in the learning and study process.

Assessment
The course unit is assessed through continuous assessment, consisting of two components: (i) the preparation of a literature review, in the form of a book chapter, completed as group work (5?6 students); and (ii) an oral, reasoned presentation of the work, with individual assessment.
The weighting of continuous assessment is as follows:
Component 1 ? Written assignment (group work, 5?6 members): 60%
Component 2 ? Oral presentation of the assignment (individual): 40%
Each component is graded on a 0?20 scale. The final course unit grade is calculated as the weighted average of the two components. A student is considered to have passed if they obtain a final grade of 9.5 or higher (out of 20).
Students who do not pass through continuous assessment will be subject to assessment in the regular examination period and, where applicable, in the resit period, in accordance with the Academic Regulations of the University of Évora and the applicable academic calendar. Assessment grids/rubrics will be made available to students and presented at the beginning of the course unit.
