Learning Goals
This curricular unit provide a comprehensive training in the concepts related to the calculation, design and construction of pipes both in pressure and in open channel flow, as well as the study of distribution networks and sewage networks.
Knowledge and skills focus on fundamental notions about water needs for supply and other uses, design of distribution infraestructures, and the transportation to the wastewater treatment plants. The training is complemented with the knowledge of the possibilities that hydrological and hydraulic models offer in the planning and design of hydraulic infrastructures, as well as the ability to predict and evaluate the repercussions that changes may generate in them or in their uses.

Teaching Methods
Master classes combined with practical exercises for the application of the content of each topic carried out during the proposed seminars. In those seminars, the students will learn to use different technical software to analysis and assessment supply and sewage networks and systems. The evaluation will be carried out through submitting activities (50%) and theoretical test (50%).
