Course Overview

The cycle of studies is framed within the general principles defined under Decree-Law No. 74/2006 of March 24, as amended. In addition to these principles, there are the following equally general goals: - Access to 3rd cycle training in Linguistics, also offered by the University of Évora. - The deepening of active knowledge in the area of mother tongue and foreign languages and linguistics. - The acquisition of levels of specialization in areas such as linguistic consultancy (for national and community public bodies as well as for companies), text editing (in the press, publishing houses and libraries), education (in the national, European or Lusophone space). - The increase of competitiveness and employability in all market sectors that involve linguistic and cultural phenomena and where a solid training in the areas of multilingual communication is important.
