Presentation
The unit aims to provide an understanding of contextual aspects of Iberian philosophies, learn about examples of trends and authors that marked Contemporary Philosophy in Portugal and Spain, in order to understand philosophical thought as one of several bridges between peninsular peoples.

Teaching Methods
The following main methods will be used in the course:
e) Exposure (in the introduction of themes and problems);
f) Text hermeneutics;
g) Debate (discussion and argumentation);
h) Assessment: continuous, consisting of two written tests (40% each) and level of participation in classes (20%); or final examination: consisting of a written test (100%), or written test and oral test for students with grade between 8 and 10 in the written test.
