Dealing with intrapopulation variability and comparison of population samples. Know the main numerical methods of inference biosystematics. Develop a critical capability in analysis and discussion issues related to the classification of living things.
Skills acquired: 1. Generic: Mastery of reading in English, use of computer programs generic (eg Excel) and specific (SPSS, PHYLIPP) capacity
deduction and interpretation of statistical results, use of platform for online learning, University of Évora (Moodle).
2. Specific / technical: Morphometry animal, analysis of variance (ANOVA); analysis of clusters; preparing an article on taxonomy rules of biological nomenclature.
