Objectives: Understanding the psychology, physiology and development of systems specific to the horse in the use of sports, recreational and rehabilitation. Meat and milk perspectives by breed and to traditional farming speculation. Morpho-functional as selection criteria. Programming reproductive and feed linked to the use of sports. Programming and hygiene facilities. Horses valuation and sale.
Skills: Recognize the attitude to ensure the horse standing who meets the conditions for success of your training and use. Characteristics of the efficient functionality to select the number of equestrians and their commercial value. Ways of handling and training the characteristics of each horse, ensuring their well being and athletic performance. Analyze the design and development of different types of production systems. To devise ways to intervene to enable the optimization of production and use of the horse. Evaluate and choose the means to ensure the rational exploitation of the horse.

Concepts, mechanisms and flexibility of the behavior of the horse.
Outdoor, static and dynamic horse.
Breeds, vocations of use, herd books, strategies morpho-functional appreciation.
Equestrians. Learning and training specific to each modality.
Programming and reproductive management, food, hygienic-sanitary and farriery of horses.
Facilities and equipment production, use sports, leisure riding and special therapeutic riding.
Organization of national and international services production, use and appreciation of the horse.

Teaching Methods
Methodology of teaching: Lectures (one hour), seminars (2 hours), practical classes (two hours).
Theoretical Evaluation: It has a weight of 40% in the final grade.
- Two frequencies written in which the student must obtain a minimum grade of 9.5 in each.
Evaluation Practice: It has a weight of 50% in the final grade.
- Continuous assessment in which the student must obtain a minimum grade of 9.5.
Attendance and Participation: Has a 10% weight in final grade. - The student must attend at least three-quarters of lessons.
