- Acquirement of the theoretical knowledge and empirical references that support the understanding of gender as social construction, and also contribute to a comprehensive analysis of the main changes and of the patterns of gender inequality in contemporary societies, particularly in work, organisations and family life.

science and the knowledge of societies, through the incorporation of a gender-sensitive perspective.
