Course Overview
The PhD Programme in Psychology is aimed at a wide range of professionals interested in research and advanced and sustained training in the various 'areas of Psychology. Psychology is a scientific and disciplinary area consolidated in the University of Évora, having its teaching staff relevant research in line with one of the anchor areas of this university: Life pathways and well-being.
It aims to develop skills for the exercise of scientific research in Psychology, leading to the elaboration of original scientific work of recognized quality that contributes to the advance of knowledge in Psychology. Thus, more specifically, it is intended that students deepen their theoretical and methodological knowledge in the scientific field of Psychology which will enable them to carry out autonomous research in this area of knowledge and the development of skills to, in a knowledge-based society, promote scientific, technological, social and cultural progress in the academic or professional context.
