Teaching Methods

The teaching methodologies actively promote student-centered learning through practical activities in both the laboratory and the field, practical projects, and problem-solving, empowering students to take an active role in their education. Students are encouraged to learn autonomously, collaborate in knowledge construction, and develop critical thinking.
In face-to-face classes, the emphasis is on content exposition to provide a strong foundation of theoretical knowledge. In laboratory practical sessions, students actively engage in the execution of simulated methodologies using validated research instruments. They participate in the data collection, processing, analysis, interpretation, and presentation processes. Concurrently, the use of digital resources as tools for enhancing learning is integrated, involving the use of software and applications that support specific instruments, enriching the students' learning experience.

Assessment

Formative assessment is conducted through the evaluation of active student participation in group discussions, problem-solving exercises, case studies, and simulated studies. As for summative assessment, it will include the submission and presentation of a research project that reports the entire methodological process to address a question related to Human Kinetics.
