Learning Goals

The aim of this curricular unit is for students to:
- Develop a systematic understanding of areas of Human Motricity, specifically seeking that they acquire a high level of specialization in the area that is related to their thesis.
- In each of the areas (Exercise and Health; Psychomotricity; Technology and Sports Performance and Sports Management), develop an in-depth knowledge of current scientific research, specific research methods and areas of action and innovation.
- Develop a specialized view of current research in Human Motricity, which includes:research models and experimental approaches, methodologies and techniques, applications and impact on current society in their areas of interest.

Contents

The course Seminar in Human Motricity consists of several seminars on different areas of research in Human Motricity. These seminars are organized into 4 main areas of Human Motricity:
- Exercise and Health.
- Psychomotricity.
- Technology and Sports Performance.
- Sports Management.
For each area, 6 different seminars are organized, for a total of 24 hours of training. The syllabus will be specific to each seminar to be held in each of the areas mentioned.
Each student must choose a training area, in which they must follow all the lectures. To complete the remaining 24 hours of this course, students must select 6 lectures in any of the other 3 areas. Registration for each conference will take place at the beginning of the semester.

Teaching Methods

The teaching methodology consists of participation in the different modules presented by investigators on their area of research. These seminars are not just expository in nature but seek to promote interaction and discussion of the topics covered among the participants. The active participation of the students will be encouraged through the presentation of themes or existing work during the module, promoting discussion and the enrichment of their practice through interaction with specialists in specific areas.

Assessment

Student assessment consists of the development of a synthesis paper - a report - which indicates how the content and skills acquired in the various seminars have contributed to their training and to the preparation of their thesis project.
