Teaching Methods
The teaching methodologies are structured to actively promote student-centred learning, encouraging students to learn autonomously, collaborate in the construction of knowledge and develop critical thinking. The methodologies value TP activities with reflection and discussion, favoring students' research and critical analysis of scientific sources, as well as studies simulation. Some subjects involve exposure, creating solid theoretical knowledge, but the use of digital resources will be privileged for a study's enrichment learning. Students will be encouraged to explore ICT tools to support research while carrying out individual and team PL activities (e.g., application of evaluation protocols with results posted in online applications and automatic creation of a database stored in the cloud), enabling them to take an active role in their training.
The creation of a learning plan by each student, including OT sessions, will be encouraged.
The creation of a learning plan by each student, including OT sessions, will be encouraged.
Assessment
Formative assessment is carried out by evaluating students' active participation in reflections and discussions, as well as in the analysis and interpretation of simulated studies. The summative assessment will include a written test (25%) and the submission and presentation of a research project, including a description of the methodology according to the type of study and the expected results (75%).
