This course requires the student to demonstrate critical thinking on the research methodologies of literary
studies concerning the subjects of Theory of Literature (Seminar A in Literature) in Literary Studies
(Seminar B in Literature) and papers, conferences and lectures (Cycle of Conferences) , and their
application in literary studies . Thus it aims to assist students in their task of building their thesis project,
by defining the topic, establishing a work schedule and gathering substantive issues and those that need
more scientific and bibliographic support. As a result the student, under the teacher supervision, provides
times and forms of such support, and performs an essential first bibliography and draft plan.

Teaching Methods
This seminar focuses on the consideration of methods, approaches and perspectives of the object of study
by the student. The teacher is the prime mediator of this process, commenting , proposing changes and
correcting the application of the research methodologies within the literary studies in question.
