Challenges in the Treatment of Leg Ulcers: IpTB Training and Compressive Therapy

Scientific evidence indicates that compressive therapy is a cost-effective measure in the treatment of venous ulcers of the lower limbs, promoting healing in less time and improving quality of life. This training course aims to contribute to the development of technical and scientific skills for the differential diagnosis and treatment of leg ulcers, taking into account the latest scientific evidence and training in the assessment of the Ankle-Brachial Pressure Index (ABPI) and the application of different types of short-traction bandages, long-traction bandages and multi-layer systems. The teaching methodology used in this course includes the use of advanced technological resources, namely digital environments and technological platforms applied to training and simulation.
