Course Overview
Technological and scientific progress and the constant evolution of health care have enabled more and more newborns to survive prematurely or with complex pathologies. This progress, although promising, requires a high level of specialization on the part of the professionals who care for this vulnerable population. Training in Neonatology Nursing enables critical reflection on clinical practices as well as rigorous analysis of the scientific evidence that underpins current knowledge. This course is designed to promote safe, ethical and evidence-based professional practice, strengthening multidisciplinary teamwork and the humanization of neonatal care.
