To provide students with knowledge about the Circular Economy model and about innovative technologies for surplus management, developed in light of this model.
Students were able to participate in surplus management plans to be developed by companies in the agri-food sector, acquiring some specific technical skills regarding the different techniques for valuing agricultural surpluses and transversal skills regarding the presentation of these techniques in different contexts.

Contents
Definition of product, co-product, by-product and waste. Circular Economy Principles. Agricultural, Organic and Energetic Valorization of Agricultural Surplus
Teaching Methods
Theoretical-practical classes: expositive method, active methodologies and collaborative work. Seminars: experts will be invited on certain subjects to allow the deepening of some subjects.
Assessment
Evaluation with one written test.
