Course Overview
The Atmospheric Observation Techniques: Remote Sensing Instrumentation course aims to provide the student with basic skills for observing the atmosphere using remote sensing techniques. This course is offered by the University of Évora and will be taught by highly qualified faculty, who carry out research in remote sensing applied to the observation and characterization of the atmosphere. The course offers training in basic remote sensing fundamentals covering the concepts of active and passive remote sensing and different types of instrumentation on various observation platforms (surface and satellite).

Este curso destina-se a técnicos de meteorologia do IPMA ou outras entidades nacionais ou estrangeiras cuja missão inclua responsabilidades nas áreas da meteorologia, meteorologia aeronáutica e clima e com necessidades de formação nesta área. Destina-se ainda a técnicos da Proteção civil e Autarquias, ou a qualquer pessoa interessada nestas áreas, cuja formação inicial seja adequada para aquisição dos conhecimentos e competências a adquirir com esta formação.
