The main learning objectives of the course are:
1. Revisit the basic concepts of psychopharmacology
2. Explore the specificities of the different psychopharmacological classes
3. Analyze the fundamental principles of applied clinical psychopharmacology
4. Explore the different international prescribing guidelines and recommendations
5. Apply the concepts and guidelines to practical, interactive clinical cases

Teaching Methods

The microcredit course is structured in short modules, totalling the ECTSs corresponding to 18h of training, to be carried out in e-learning format. The course will have a trainees' workload of 45 hours, with 18 hours of effective participation in the modules and 27 hours of individual study work. The modules will be carried out after working hours. At the end of the course a report with discussion of a clinical case will be requested.

Assessment

Active participation in the discussion and reflection of the course objectives will have a weighting of 20% in the final mark. At the end of the course, students will also be asked to prepare an Evaluation Report, with the reflection and discussion of a clinical case, which will have a final weighting of 80% in the final mark of the course.
