In our private life, in companies and in other organizations, problems that are difficult to solve often arise. Problems can be difficult for a variety of reasons. They can be difficult because they are complex and involve a high degree of uncertainty, because there are other interconnected decisions that can go on over time and because the decision maker may have more than one objective and some of those objectives may conflict.This course is based on individual decision models in the context of uncertainty. Much importance is given to both the uncertainty aspect and the sequential element. Still in the context of individual decision, decisions are studied in which there are several objectives and in which an alternative may be better in relation to certain objectives, but worse in relation to others.
