This course aims to explore concepts and practices of project management in order to support decision-making in the context under analysis. The organisation of activities, management of resources, and their allocation constitute the pillars of the course, which will study situations in which the duration of activities is considered deterministic and others whose duration is stochastic.  Queuing theory is included in order to complement the project management intuition. It is intended that students acquire the essential concepts of project management and queuing theory in terms of the respective fundamental resources: time, financial resources, material resources and human resources.
