Course Overview

To prevent complications associated with immobility of the bedridden person, is important to understand and apply of the assistance techniques. In promoting safety, assisting bedridden people, also in preventing the risk of falls, it is recommended that caregivers of the elderly solidify their knowledge about assistance techniques for bedridden person. The all process of mobilization in bed and transfer the bedridden person must be performed of the principles of body mechanics and privileging the safety. The syllabus contents are directed to the competences for the development of the afore mentioned interventions, translated into the objectives. Manual skills are also required, being developed in the context of simulated practices.
