Sustainable Development Goals

Learning Goals

With this curricular unit, we intend to evaluate the reason for the need to build more sustainably, what led to having to do it and how it can be done, namely learning to choose construction materials and more effective techniques from the point of view of sustainability. Students should acquire skills that allow them to build a healthy environment based on the efficiency of their resources and ecological design, applying the principles of Sustainable Construction and thus promoting ecological development.

Teaching Methods

Teaching will be based on theoretical-practical classes. These classes will have a theoretical component that will be taught using presentations, interspersed with practical case examples and exercises. During the semester students have to develop a practical work with presentation at the end of the semester. Technical visits are also planned.

Assessment

Assessment is ensured through the completion of 1 assignment and exams. Assessment in normal season: continuous (0.6Exam + 0.4Work) or final (0.6Exam + 0.4Work). The assessment at the time of appeal, special, extraordinary meets the following components: 1.0Exam.
Minimum grade of 8.5 in the practical work, and 9.5 in the Exams.
