Sustainable Development Goals
Learning Goals
- Understand the importance of digitalization in Civil Engineering (A).
- To transmit knowledge in terms of the use of computer-aided design technologies, CAD-Computer Aided Design, where skills are developed for the creation of digital models with a view to 3D modeling and spatial simulation (B).
- It is intended to develop the ability to produce drawn parts (2D drawing) from 3D models that contribute to the understanding of spatial structures as well as to the communication and integrated visualization of the different components of the Civil Engineering project (C). - Apply parametric and digital modeling methodologies, particularly focusing on the concepts inherent to "Building Information Modeling" (D).

Teaching Methods
The teaching is carried out through theoretical-practical classes, in which the subjects are presented through the expository and interactive method, using information technologies, necessary for students to acquire the skills associated with the understanding and use of Digitization tools in the Construction sector. Practical exercises will be proposed, monitored and solved in a structured way with the use of technology that help in the understanding and analysis of the exposed subjects. The analysis of case examples and group work is also promoted, with the collection of essential information for the study applied to problem solving. The collection of information outside the classroom will be promoted, with a view to carrying out the intended practical work.
Assessment
Assessment is ensured through the completion of a practical work (Work) and a frequency (Freq) during the semester or final exam (Exa). Normal Season: continuous assessment (0.5Freq + 0.5Work) or final assessment (0.5Exa + 0.5Work). The evaluation at the time of appeal, special, extraordinary meets the following components: 0.5Exa + 0.5Trab. Minimum grade of 8.5 val in Trab and 9.5 val in Freq or Exa.
