Sustainable Development Goals
Learning Goals
Provide a comprehensive and enlightening view of the general problem of regional and urban planning from the perspective of spatial planning and environmental protection (A). Understand and analyze the main instruments of territorial management in their various scales that make up the spatial planning, as well as other legal instruments (B).
To confer skills in the construction of an analytical attitude, which allows planning and intervention in the solutions of occupation and use of urban territory in full respect for the environment, applying the concept of sustainable development and identifying what measures are necessary for its promotion (C).
Acquisition of interpretation capacities about the interactions between microclimate and urban space in the context of climate change, percussing the best answers in terms of spatial planning.Understand the importance of different natural risks and the need to intervene in the context of the circular economy (D).

Teaching Methods
The teaching is carried out through theoretical-practical classes, in which the subjects are presented through the exhibition and interactive method, using information technologies, necessary for students to acquire the skills associated with understanding the problem of spatial planning and environmental protection in the scope of Civil Engineering. Case studies that help in the understanding and analysis of the exposed materials will be proposed and analyzed in a structured way. The collection of information outside the will be promoted with a view to analyzing cases.
Assessment
The evaluation is ensured through the performance and discussion of a practical group work (Trab) and a frequency (Freq) during the semester or individual examination (Exa). Normal season: continuous evaluation (0.5Freq + 0.5Trab) or final evaluation (0.5Exa + 0.5Trab). The evaluation in time of appeal, special, extraordinary meets the following components: 0.5Exa+ 0.5Trab. Minimum score of 8.5 val in Trab and 9.5 val in frequency or exam.
