Teaching Methods
Once a general theoretical introduction has been given, the sessions will begin with a discussion of texts and literary works that have been read beforehand. Two short works will be selected, as well as other "simple form" texts and poems, to be worked on in the workshop. And a longer work will be suggested on which the final work will be based. In each workshop session there will be at least two rounds in which the students will express their opinions on the texts under discussion.
Assessment
Continuous assessment includes a final paper on literary criticism, worth 75% of the final grade. In addition, there is a scheduled oral presentation of a short story or poem to the group, worth 25%.
As an alternative to continuous assessment, in every Exam period, there will be a written test and an oral test, either one or the other worth 50% of the final grade.
