Teaching Methods

The course has a weekly TP of 180 minutes and 2 hours/week of fieldwork in a real teaching context.
The methodologies vary according to the nature of the content to be addressed, consisting predominantly of: analysis and discussion of supporting texts and records of observations arising from fieldwork, group discussion and debate on themes with a more reflective orientation; individual research and / or group, guided and monitored by the teacher.
Moodle is used as a tool to support learning

Assessment

Continuous assessment is the recommended system of evaluation and considers the following assessment components:
1) Individual work (planning, realization and subsequent critical reflection of a PE lesson, developed in a real teaching context): 40%;
2) A group research work on a theme selected by the students that will be presented and discussed in class: 40% . The evaluation criteria will be agreed with the students.
3) Theoretical-practical work done and discussed during (20%)

The final evaluation (regular, appeal and special seasons) is composed of two components:
(60%)-Written test.
(40%)- Individual work (planning, implementation and subsequent critical reflection of a PE lesson, developed in a real teaching context). This assessment component is common to the continuous assessment regime (c.f. Academic Regulation of the UÉ).

Approval requires a final grade of 10 values.
