Luso-Spanish Assembly of Geodesy and Geophysics

The Luso-Spanish Geodesy and Geophysics Assembly, which had its first edition in Almeria in 1998, began meeting every two years, alternating between the two countries responsible, Spain and Portugal. Over the course of its editions, it has become a forum for research in the fields of Geodesy, Seismology, Meteorology, Geomagnetism, Hydrology, Oceanography, Volcanology, Applied Geophysics and Cryospheric Sciences, and a place for Spanish and Portuguese researchers to meet and exchange scientific ideas through the presentation and discussion of work in these fields.
